Just a sheet pan bake.

I got 8 sausages, weighting 2# total and spent $20., gasp! On the other hand, this is the protein of the week. We'll repeat the same meal once, I'll probably raid them for a couple of breakfasts, and the remainder will find its way onto a pizza.

The rest of the week will involve beanie-weinie and some leftover Ethiopian food, bolstered by the yellow split pea dal which I'm perfectly capable of making. If the injera bread doesn't survive till then, I'll just add some rice.

Squeezing the nickel till the eagle screams.

A mixture of sausages slow-grilled. Zucchini torte and a simple salad. Pears for dessert.

The garden is having a late season harvest! We may have another week of fresh goodies.

Made seitan ribs (with some Penzey’s BBQ spice) and sweet corn. Bonus is that I’ll have plenty of leftovers for work lunches this week.

We had our usual lunchtime salad for dinner. Chopped romaine, spring mix, cabbage, red onion, radish, shredded carrot, pickled beets, black olives, cherry tomatoes all tossed with balsamic-walnut dressing. Chopped smoked tofu on top for protein. Cheers!🥂
