I shuck it and it cooks perfectly without heating up the kitchen.

Efficient, tidy, and doesn't heat up the kitchen.

(15,447 posts)4. I have to give this a try. In the past I would shuck the corn, wrap in a paper towel, soak in water and microwave
3 min per ear... When done just discard the wet paper towel.
This husk on technique looks neat...

I love corn with lime/mayo, feta cheese or goat cheese, cilantro, and pickled jalapeno.
