Related: About this forumWhy do we cook!
Of course we need to eat.
I am unable to actually cook anymore.
cooking doesn't necessarily mean heat is involved.MrsK used to say" let's eat cold today"
Those were good meals
I didn't need to post every meal, online.

(41,282 posts)What makes you think people "need" to post online?
I don't know what other peoples' motivations are, but I just like to converse with others about food. That's it, plain and simple.

(3,229 posts)But, being I had to have my stomach removed 12 years ago, and Lilbit died a year ago, I have to puree all my food.. sometimes, I actually cook. But,have ya ever eaten a pureed steak?
It's easier to just drink a protein shake.
The taste is similar, I haven't chewed food in 12 years.
Cher I guess I'm just jealous of your posts. As I drink my breakfast.
I'm sorry. Yesterday was not a good day in Kozland

(1,323 posts)I certainly dont often make things I think would be interesting to anyone, but so many times I feel uninspired to make something and when I scroll through this forum, it gives me ideas to mix things up!
I still have too much chili to work through from yesterday (I may use some in a quesadilla tonight just for variety) but your salad, Cher, (especially the cucumber) reminded me I have a nice organic cuke just waiting for a salad. Odds are now 10:1 thats going to end up in my belly tonight.

(5,334 posts)I'm trying to broaden everyone's appreciation of both the similarities and differences in world cuisine,
At the minimum to enjoy the food vicariously, hopefully to inspire all you cooks...

(3,229 posts)Was one of her faves,
Make a batch of Manwich, I always used ground chicken. Set aside
Make an easy over egg
I would grab her bowl, a helping of Manwich and crush the egg in it.
Actually I ate this more than few times as well
I miss LilBit
