My sister who has been visiting a few days has to leave today. Boo. So I told her I'd make her colby-pepperjack scrambled eggs with potatoes and onions and bacon, hot tea.

Turns out we both like our bacon very differently, I like cooked but still soft; she likes it so crispy I heard her chewing it 5 feet away.

The resulting discussion about how each of our family likes bacon was fun.

She also told me one of our brothers still is using the copper bottom revere ware sauce pan that our Mom got as a wedding gift 69 yrs ago to make popcorn. Thousands of pans of popcorn were made in that sauce pan, then it was scrubbed for Sunday dinner mashed potatoes.
