I run the cultivator around once a week after breakfast. Lately it's been too hot and I been spending more time watering.

Double espresso or black coffee from Death Wish beans

Toasted home-made rye slices. Pistachio butter or cashew butter. Lemon curd. Various jams.

Warmed rendered bacon slices

Appointment today for glasses following April cataract double surgery. Drug store reading glasses have been interim help.

Tomorrow we check out new rescue dog to replace passed dachsie companion for our lonely mutt Junior. Several to choose from. Junior is a rescue. He knows what "snack" means.

Will be almost 100 here in Placeville tomorrow.

then Jr. won't be lonely anymore.
