My breakfast is still nibbling the cheeses, I ordered last week.

I'm the only one up and feeling the sun's warmth on a cool morning. Observing the Barn Swallows as they feed their young and hearing the buzz of several humming birds as they come to the feeder. The hounds down the road are now discussing something. They are making sounds that are not quite braying but close. Perhaps they are taking turns imitating a distant siren.

Not sure about breakfast yet. Not feeling like my regular cold cereal or English muffin.
There is a peach ready to eat so perhaps I'll have that with some yogurt.

More coffee now and back to the porch.

Honeydew melon, toast.

Unfortunately, not a great melon. I cut it up last night. I think I’ll put some agave on it.

I also made lots of ice.

Got an extra melon, a cantaloupe. I hope it’s better than this honeydew.
