His making of garum video is fantastic. His school pizza show is also a good one. There are several shows similiar to Max- Sohla is one, she looks for the oldest version of a recipe (one was a nettle soup from when humans still lived in caves), and of course, Townsend is another: he focuses mostly on recipes from the 1700-1800, usually around the American revolutionary war era.
