We're having a little debate-watching party tonight. It's kind of a potluck, but this is what I've been told:
Breaded chicken strips with honey mustard sauce.
Cold seafood plate with balsamic glazed salmon and cold shrimp.
Dessert is carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and cheesecake.
Everyone is bringing their own favorite drink.

Mild tomato salsa and tortilla chips. Sour cream.
Possible red wine.

(893 posts)DH had an (off diet) fast food meal, I had a nice rare lamb chop at home. (He's not fond of a quick fry-up, but I am.) Later tonight, it's beer and popcorn.
You gotta take a break from the healthy, sometimes.

(11,287 posts)a sort of tikka masala made with leftover grilled chicken, and a red lentil dal. I made more dal than we can eat for one meal, so there will be frozen leftovers for a later meal
