Weight Loss/Maintenance
Related: About this forumEat To Live Diet = Stop Suffering
After eating absolute garbage and fast food late into my 50's I got Type 2 diabetes. My blood sugar got real high, because I was sick and under stress, and ended up with horrible neuropathy pain in my feed. Then I started getting arthritis and did some research on anti arthritis diets to go with diabetes diet. Found the eat to live diet.
Now for the last year I did the salads, beans, fruits, nuts, and veggies and really cut back on processed foods, and meat, dairy, and poultry. Also walked a lot every day, or night for exercise, or work. 20,000 steps minimum.
I feel better, don't need the "drugs" lost weight and don't even need metformin any more.
And best thing is my feet stopped hurting.
What the "doctors" told me was to eat meat, and other deadly crap, and didn't even mention this type of diet.
Job security?

(4 posts)That would be a good choice. I followed so many diets but nothing helped me in anyways. That was because normally all diet plans follow a strategy like having meat a day in a week without salt or any spices which are something that I hate the most. Can't even imagine of meat without spices and salt and that would be the reason for my diets to stop. After that, I would starve and skip my food in the morning and noon and have a night meal that didn't help me in anyways. It was because I was starving the whole day and would be compensate eating with whatever I get. That really made my tummy size to increase and put on weight.
This would be a good idea. I guess. Lemme try the same.
Anyways thank you for sharing.
