Related: About this forumKoz owes you an update,
Still in rehab, but progressing. My stroke was Oct 27, and I'm walking( with a walker still), talking, and even got cleared to drive! My right side is still weak, but getting stronger. Physical Therapy is wearing the good half of my butt out!
It's been a tough month or so, I can say, DU posts, jokes, recipes, experiences, made me either,
Smile, laugh, cuss, or even shed a tear. But, they gave me strength to move forward.
I thank You All,
Never believe they are just "posts"

(3,273 posts)Gets my weird sense making hard things, doable.
So he just says, " ok A****le , 5 reps" or something similar, he is a big part of my recovery.

Just do as your doctor(s) and therapist tell you to and life will get back to normal, so as to do some back flips 😆 🤣
I'm just kidding around. Glad you're on the road to recovery. Stay strong

(1,903 posts)physical therapy is hard work, but worth it. After a construction site accident I spent eight months healing broken bones, recovering, physical therapy and lots of hard work. Hopefully your physical therapist will teach you relaxation techniques which are a huge help in pain and stress relief.
Keep up the good work!
