UN Expert Exposes Companies Aiding Israel’s Genocide, Occupation in Palestine

Amazon, BlackRock, and Keller Williams LLC are some of the companies named in the report.

UN human rights expert Francesca Albanese has released a report naming dozens of companies that bear complicity in Israel’s genocide and apartheid in Palestine, aiming to show how companies have built Israel’s occupation into a sprawling, profitable industry.

In her report released Monday, Albanese names over 60 companies, including numerous U.S.-based companies, for their role in advancing Israel’s military campaign, settlement building, and mass forced displacement.

These companies are either directly providing goods used to demolish Palestinian homes and kill Palestinian people, like Caterpillar Inc., or Lockheed Martin; or supporting Israel through other means, like holding real estate sales or investing in companies who provide direct support, like Keller Williams Realty LLC or BlackRock, respectively.

Big Tech is especially involved, with Albanese calling out some of the largest tech companies in the U.S. for providing logistical support for Israel, like Amazon and Alphabet, Google’s parent company. The report follows a call for input for complicity with Israel within the private sector from Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories. Albanese writes that she received hundreds of submissions, and has built a database of 1,000 corporate entities who are “implicated in human rights violations and international crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory,” she writes.

In the letter, acting US representative to the UN Dorothy Shea accused Albanese of waging “an unacceptable campaign of political and economic warfare against the American and worldwide economy.”

The World Jewish Congress also condemned Albanese’s new report, accusing her of promoting a “deeply biased narrative.” “Ms. Albanese’s report is yet another example of her repeated misuse of her mandate to advance a political agenda rather than to uphold the universal principles of human rights,” said the WJC’s Executive Vice President Maram Stern in a statement.

Pro-Israel groups like UN Watch and NGO Monitor have regularly accused Albanese of anti-Israel and even antisemitic bias. She has said that the “Jewish lobby” controls the US, repeatedly compared Israelis to Nazis, rejected antisemitic motivations for Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, blamed Israel for the invasion, rejected Israeli security concerns, condemned Israel’s killing of Hamas terror chief Yahya Sinwar, and denied Israel’s right to self defense, among other inflammatory statements.

In February 2024, Albanese also received furious backlash when she said that victims of Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel “were not killed because of their Judaism, but in response to Israel’s oppression.” Linda Thomas-Greenfield, US ambassador to the UN under President Biden, posted on X at the time that Albanese is “unfit for her role. The United Nations should not tolerate antisemitism from a UN-affiliated official hired to promote human rights.”

A sovereign nation, the 17th oldest democracy in the world. No other country in the world is treated like Israel. Wonder why.

Out of sequence and spliced. To make it seem like she is talking about Israel being "dismantled".

If you watch the actual video, it is clear she is talking about - as her report makes clear - dismantling the economic and corporate system that enables and profits off of the occupation of Palestinians and now their slaughter/genocide.

You should watch the whole thing. You can also find her report easily.

I've mentioned this before, you should be careful posting videos from X. There are many unreliable or dishonest sources. They have an agenda, you know.

She's been smeared for years with false anti-semitism accusations. No, she is a passionate and tireless advocate for Palestinian rights. Her work is a thorn in the side of those who want to drive Palestinians out of their homeland, make money off their occupation and steal their land and resources. They attack her relentlessly! Case in point right here lol..

Of course she criticizes Israel, she wouldn't be a human rights advocate otherwise!! For that, she is smeared and now sanctioned. Because she called out the US. oligarchs for their greed and complicity. A few days later she is sanctioned. It's the way of our world unfortunately.
