Russia Finally Lost Its Major Advantage -- Z-Army Surrenders to an Unexpected Enemy. - The Russian Dude

Ukraine just did something that sounds almost unreal, because according to this text, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces captured a Russian position exclusively with unmanned systems, with no infantry involved and no Ukrainian losses, a moment that may signal a major shift in how this war is being fought. The broader picture described here is that Ukraine is no longer just trying to survive Russia’s larger manpower and missile pressure, but is actively trying to change the rules of the war through robotic ground systems, long-range drones, deep strikes, air defense expansion, and joint defense production with European partners like Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Zelenskyy said Ukrainian robotic systems carried out more than 22,000 missions in just three months, while systems such as Ratel, TerMIT, Ardal, Rys, Zmiy, Protector, and Volia are becoming part of a new battlefield model designed to reduce Ukrainian losses and make Russia’s raw numerical advantage less decisive.

At the same time, Ukraine is scaling industrial cooperation with Europe, with Germany backing a 4 billion euro defense package that Mykhailo Fedorov said could help finance several hundred Patriot missiles, Norway supporting drone production in both Ukraine and Norway, and Britain pledging at least 120,000 drones by the end of the year. This is happening while Russia continues mass aerial pressure, launching 324 drones and three ballistic missiles in one night, though Ukraine reportedly intercepted 309 of those drones, showing both the scale of Russian pressure and the importance of Ukraine’s air defense.

The text also highlights that Ukraine is still hitting deep inside Russia’s war economy, including strikes on Rosneft-linked infrastructure, the Tuapse refinery supply chain, and a petrochemical plant in Sterlitamak in Bashkortostan about 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine, part of a wider campaign that Oleksandr Syrskyi said struck 76 military and military-industrial assets in Russia in March, including 15 oil refinery facilities.

Put together, the story is that Ukraine is reorganizing the war around robots, drones, deep strikes, air defense, industrial endurance, and European co-production, while Russia is still relying on mass attacks, oil revenue, and legal escalation threats to keep pressure on Kyiv.
