Subverting the U.S. Constitution: Trump, Orban, Hungary, Ukraine AND NATO. Can Magyar turn Hungary around?

https://www.youtube.com/live/agk7wAypTdY

There is a lot here. If you do not have the time at the moment, I recommend bookmarking. I found the conversation a fascinating insight into what difficulties Peter Magyar will face, the subversion of the U.S. Constitution through Trump's executive orders and Supreme Court acquiescence and much more.

Interviewed is Kim Lane Scheppele, Professor of sociology and international affairs at Princeton University and one of the world's leading experts on constitutional law, democratic backsliding and democracy. She has keen insight into how democratic institutions are being subverted and the challenges we face to stop the erosion of our rights and turn things around.

There is a lot of back and forth off topic in the introduction until about 4 minutes in. I recommend starting about there if you need to cut some time off.

Please Note: I don't know why the video won't embed onto DU. I'm assuming because the producer classified it as "Live" which it was, a live conversation. But the link does take you to YouTube and the video.

On Edit: The professor does mention that Magyar did not attend an LGBTQ parade after Orban outlawed them. I don't believe Magyar is anti-LGBTQ. I heard him make some positive remarks for LGBTQ on Hungary's election night. There were also a lot of gay flags in the Magyar crowd that night.
