Ukraine Just Did Something What Has Never Been Done in the History of War. - The Russian Dude
Ukraine just pulled off something that could become one of the most important military innovations of this war, because according to the text, Ukrainian forces reportedly carried out what was described as the first fully drone-led bridge destruction operation in the history of war, using UK-made Malloy T-150 drones over roughly two months, flying 30 missions across 60 days, delivering around 1.5 tonnes of explosives, and helping bring down a key bridge in occupied Kherson after earlier attempts with airstrikes and HIMARS had failed. But that was only part of a much bigger pattern, because Ukraine is also targeting Russias logistics into Crimea, including the reported disabling of the rail ferry Slavyanin in the Kerch Strait, while massively expanding long-range drone pressure deep inside Russia, with reports claiming more than 7,000 cross-border attacks in March alone.
At the same time, Russia is responding with its own huge drone buildup, continuing infrastructure strikes, trying to protect its Black Sea fleet around Novorossiysk, and defending critical oil shipping routes as maritime tensions with Britain grow sharper. The text also argues that even while Ukraine is raising the cost of war for Moscow, Russia is still getting breathing room from rising oil revenues, with Reuters estimating its biggest oil-tax stream could jump to around $9 billion in April, which helps explain why the conflict remains so difficult to bring to a clear conclusion. And now, with pressure building across the battlefield, the Black Sea, sanctions enforcement, and energy markets, ceasefire talk is returning, but under much more unstable conditions, especially as questions around U.S. guarantees and long-term Western support become harder to ignore.
