are gloom and doom, yet Putin is not slowing down in Ukraine. I guess he needs a win to stay in power, but I don't see the citizens tolerating this for for very long.

(124,396 posts)2. It will be interesting to see whether the Russians are able to keep the lights and heat going through the winter.
If Putin is not successful providing those basic fundamentals, then I could see a revolution in the spring.
