What is Russia really doing in Africa? On the surface, it looks like trade deals and partnerships – but there's a hidden side that most poeple don't see. Behind closed doors, thousands of lives are affected in ways that are shocking and unexpected.

In Africa, particularly Kenya, Moscow has been using economic deals as a cover to recruit citizens into its war in Ukraine. Students and workers were promised jobs, education or salaries – only to be sent to fight on the frontlines.
