Russia Bans Fuel Exports - Joe Blogs

Russia is facing a major fuel crisis. Ukrainian drone strikes have knocked out around 20% of refining capacity, forcing Moscow to extend a full gasoline export ban and impose partial diesel restrictions.

Across Crimea, Belgorod, the Far East and beyond, gas stations are closing, queues are forming, and key fuel grades like Ai-95 are disappearing. Independent stations are being hit hardest, although the Kremlin officially insists supplies are “ample.”

In this video, I’ll cover:

• How much refining capacity has been lost
• The bans on gasoline and diesel exports
• Anecdotal stories from across Russia
• The impact on Russia’s economy and the global oil market
