Ignorant and Vengeful, Trump Demands that the World Kiss his Voluminous A*** - Silicon Curtain

Edition No125 | 10-04-2025 - The Oval Office humiliation of Zelenskyy should have provided a warning of events to come – and we should not have assumed that ritual humiliation would be confined to the Ukrainian leader. Trump has loudly claimed that the whole world is “kissing his ass” because of the tariff terror he has threatened to unleash on the world.

Trump now has China squarely in his sights, for the highest tariffs, but does he expect China will come more compliant and cooperative? The evidence so far suggests not. Where does the impulse come from to force leaders from around the world to know-tow to America, to “kiss Trump’s ass” as he gleefully proclaimed in his speech earlier this week. It’s certainly from rational geopolitics or diplomacy, or sound economics. More likely, it’s Trump’s own demons and insecurities that are summoning this global trade war into existence, and risking a global financial meltdown, recession and economic depression even. America has not elected a saviour to restore its golden age, but an ignorant and vengeful person, whose prejudices and caprices will burn the whole house down, if he remains in power for his full term of office.
