There are 12 Democratic Candidates for Bonnie Watson Coleman's Congressional Seat in New Jersey.

Congresswoman Watson Coleman is retiring.

It is impossible to sort through them in the debates, where they are, for time constraints, limited to sound bites.

So I started emailing them for their position on extreme global heating, asking their opinion on what I regard, as the only sustainable means we have to address extreme global heating, nuclear energy.

I did not identify my own position other to say that I consider the climate issue the most important issue before humanity.

I indicated that no matter what their position is I will vote for the Democratic candidate in the general election.

I have sent three emails thus far, two of which got responses in about 5 minutes, one from the candidate himself. The campaign of the one who served in the Energy Department in the Biden administration also responded quickly.

Both candidates support nuclear energy.

We've come a long way from Michael Dukakis, for whom I voted, but wasn't happy about having to do so.

I'm sure all candidates will support so called "renewable energy" but we can't have perfection can we?

I do hope happy days will return to our country.
