(110,797 posts)NPS and the legion of volunteers that have always shown up to help build and preserve them, we are losing a lot that we may not get back.
Of course, the "answer" will not be to restrict ATVs or other damaging impacts, but to privatize the whole lot of our national treasures. We may have dodged the bullet this session, but Trump and his nasty, greedy ilk will keep trying.
