HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The strike outside Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children is entering its fourth week as the union representing hundreds of striking workers say negotiations are at a standstill.

“They haven’t met us with anything. Went back to the table and they offered us nothing,” Hawaii Teamsters Local 996 business agent Sandy Chung said.

About 300 employees are participating in the strike, including technicians, housekeeping, food service staff, and more.

The latest round of negations came last week, but the demands of the workers still have not been met, according to the union.
