Rochester, N.Y. - Graduate workers at the University of Rochester held an informational picket on Tuesday to call attention to next week's strike.

The workers say the strike is due to the University's refusal to allow a fair union election process for graduate workers.

The University of Rochester has previously said while it respects employees' rights to participate in a legal strike, it will not succumb to pressure tactics to enter into a private election agreement.

This also comes amid the White House slashing research funding, dismantling DEI programs, and the detainment of certain international students.
