USA Faces Bitter Pill - Joe Blogs

Donald Trump has just announced a new wave of U.S. import tariffs that will reshape global trade.

Here’s what’s changing from 1 October 2025:

100% tariff on branded / patented pharmaceuticals (generics exempt, unless already producing in the USA).
50% tariff on imported kitchen cabinets & vanities.
30% tariff on upholstered furniture.
25% tariff on heavy trucks.

In this video I’ll explain:

• Why the pharmaceutical tariff is the most controversial
• Which countries and companies are most exposed
• The impact on U.S. healthcare costs, inflation, and supply chains
• How the furniture and truck industries will also be hit
• What this could mean for U.S. consumers and the global economy

Oh, wait. It's "50% tariff on imported kitchen cabinets & vanities.
30% tariff on upholstered furniture."

I thought it was vanity and couches.
