The endorsement heard around the political world finally materialized Tuesday afternoon as Bernie Sanders ceded the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination to his once rival, Hillary Clinton. Appearing together under the banner ‘Stronger Together’ at a joint campaign event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Bernie made it clear that he intends to be one of Hillary’s strongest surrogates in her general election battle against Donald Trump.

The joint campaign appearance between Hillary and Bernie comes just days before Trump is expected to announce his vice presidential pick and just a week before the Republican National Convention. It’s likely that Hillary’s team wanted to roll out the Sanders endorsement at this point in the race so as to thwart some of the momentum Trump expects to receive the week of the convention. The contrast between the two parties at this point is hard to ignore. Hillary’s fiercest primary rival has now formally endorsed her, while few of Trump’s primary opponents have done the same on the GOP side, exposing a glaring lack of party unity that isn’t likely to get better at next week’s convention.


I guess now we can call them the Trump busters...

If Hillary can move on and bury it so can I .....
