If you live in NYC, please consider contributing to Rep. Nydia Velasquez. She is the first Puerto Rican woman to serve in Congress and has been a long time member of the Progressive Caucus but is now being attacked by her primary challenger for daring to be a superdelegate for HRC. In fact, the entire premise of her opponent's campaign is that he wants to "continue Bernie's revolution" by "unseating a Hillary superdelegate"

She's safe. Her district went easily for Hillary, and she's very well-respected. nt

(28,836 posts)1. The demise of the revolution isn't as imminent as some might have hoped.
We're going to be seeing this for some time, unfortunately.
In this particular case, trying to do this in NYC is probably a losing proposition. Hillary is pretty well liked and respected there.

Bernie opposing DWS and supporting her opponent is the biggest noise, but there are many many others
