Once they're married, they campaign together. While some people make movies about people campaigning without Conventions, we don't watch those kind of films.
Many months later, if things work out, an entire Presidency is born.
And that, Senator, is why you didn't win. The voters never fell in love with you and people voted for Secretary Clinton. They're going to marry her in the Conventions and have a Presidency.
