Lite & Text Only News and other Websites
I guess this is about as good a forum as any for this.

Neocities, and in proper 1980's style.
TLDR:
This was initially just going to be a basic list of text only news, cooking, and weather websites. Then I added Lite websites because why not. Then I wanted to add ways to discover independent websites. Then I wanted to add websites that were focused on specific topics because online spam and recent Google updates have made searching for this stuff a PIA. Then I added websites I've archived over the years....
It's a cornucopia.
All news sites where tested and page sizes updated on 08-03-2025
This website is under construction (You'll notice it gets worse looking the farther you scroll down).
Anyhow, think of the "text and lite" News, Sports, Weather, Search, Cooking and Tech sections as the main sections. The Discover section as a way to find independent websites and everthing else is what it is. This is also a way for me to play around with CSS and improve Accessibility skills.
