Stange message in PM

This is a first. I have never seen a PM that reads:

Message auto-removed
This mail message was automatically deleted by our software because the account that sent it is no longer eligible to send mail on this site. Thank you for your understanding.

Is this new? Messages can be deleted from our private accounts?

It said it was sent yesterday, but the PM below it was the only one I remember seeing.

So, I thought I would ask what is going on or if there is a glitch of some sort.

texts are being deleted. They also scrambled my icons and added a bunch of new apps. They also locked my screen so I couldn't delete. Them I got screen unlocked myself. Took it to the T-Mobil store still deleting messages.

Icons change, things get dropped. I haven't had the mail issue yet likely because I don't read my emails on my phone. But thanks for the head's up. My husband DOES use his phone to read emails, including work ones, so I will let him know!

they were banned before you went to your Inbox to read the message, so the message was auto-deleted by the software.

This security precaution was originally created years ago to protect members from trolls who would sign up, get to 50 posts, and then send random abusive messages to people. The functionality is only specific to banned members who are new to the site.

The time stamp of the message in your Inbox does not reflect the time that the banned member's mail message was sent, it reflects the time that the member was banned. At that moment, any messages that the member sent were auto-deleted from any Inboxes that the member sent a message to, and a new message from "Automated message" was sent to inform those members of the deletion.

7. Thanks. Didn't know that was a feature.

Then I know who it was from because he literally said in his PM:

"I did a ton of posting today to get over the 50 posts to use email limit just so I can send you this message, so please at least consider it."

I just wanted to make sure it was a "push" of some kind used to force open my PMs or the site itself. According to my computer geek husband, "push" type emails/PMs can be used to send malware or crack passwords. So, I was just double checking.

Anyway, thanks for that info.

(I had to alter my message because it had MIRT stuff in it. Forgot where I was posting. Sent you a PM about it.)
