Crown land leases on Vancouver Island - RED ALERT!

The 'US National Outdoor Leadership School' has applied for a license of long-term occupation of over 77 separate Crown Land sites up and down the coast of Vancouver Island the Gulf Islands for outdoor 'leadership and camping' purposes. This is not an Outward Bound youth group. This company's clients are corporate, US military, and government. The company partners with other groups in order to meet the eligibility requirements (must be Canadian) for applying for these licenses but they are not transparent about that. Map of locations and the 77 applications: https://comment.nrs.gov.bc.ca/applications...

Look carefully at the locations for these leases. They are all close to the water but why would they need 77 of them? The north-west coast of Vancouver Island is basically a rain forest and few people have ever settled there. It rains A LOT and things rarely dry out. Much of it is accessible only by boat. Some of these places have no access to clean drinking water or septic, so their claim to use these areas for camping and leadership training sounds dubious.

Here are my conspiracy thoughts on it all.

(1) Because the north coast of Vancouver Island is so remote, it could be used to install high powered surveillance systems or some of the equipment needed for The Golden Dome that Trump desperately wants. The Golden Dome will not work without Canada’s cooperation. A lot of nefarious activity could be done by stealth up there and no one would know until it’s too late.
(2) The south part of the Island may be part of a plan to use Vancouver Island as a staging area for a trial invasion of Canada. The population is relatively sparse and we have gun control laws in Canada that limits how many weapons would be available for self-defence. We’d be sitting ducks against the might of the US military.

With threats by the U.S. of annexation of Canada, no way should American companies or individuals gain control of Canadian land - especially on the coast!
Residents who live near these sites are understandably concerned.
A hard NO to any and all spots along our coast being leased to anything American!

Please comment on this application, even if you live elsewhere.
Comments are open until October 5th latest at comment.nrs.gov.bc.ca Look for Crown land file number 1412379 which contains all 77 applications. Click on the pin drop/View application details/Submit a comment (blue box). While you're at it, state that you don't want ANY Crown Land ANYWHERE IN CANADA being leased to ANY U.S. companies or individuals, and to cancel existing leases as they expire, while the current U.S. administration is in power.

outdoor experiences and expeditions. Unfortunately we have a great number of US companies in Canada and this seems to be just one more, using our resources for financial gain. What I don't see is this being used by US military, it is an outdoor adventure and skills school that has different experiences all over the world.

If you can provide some further information, from somewhere other than reddit or facebook, that this school is training for soldiers or anything to do with the military, I would be open to reading. I still have a lot of friends and family living there that would be interested if this were true.
