SEATTLE The man who shot a wheelchair-bound veteran in the chest on Seattles waterfront last summer was sentenced Friday to three and a half years in prison.
King County Superior Court Judge Karen Donohue told 33-year-old Gregory Timm the shooting was a completely senseless act.
Its amazing that nobody else was hurt or that the scene did not become more chaotic than it was, Donohue said during the hearing.
Timm declined to speak at sentencing. His attorney said he may appeal Timms convictions for second-degree assault and theft.
