Seattle Seawolves will leave Starfire for renovated Memorial Stadium

The Seattle Seawolves' days at Starfire Sports complex in Tukwila are numbered.

In the coming years, the Major League Rugby team will be moving from Starfire to Seattle Center's Memorial Stadium, which is undergoing renovations that are slated to finish next year.

A spokesperson for the Seawolves said in an email that the team doesn't have a definitive move date yet, but it won't be before 2028.

The team had previously been considering a move to Memorial Stadium, something Seawolves Chief Operating Officer Drew Dambreville has called "that carrot that's dangled over your head."
