Early voting to begin in San Elizario, Anthony, Texas for municipal elections
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Early voting begins Monday, April 20 for municipal elections in Anthony, Texas and San Elizario.
This is not an El Paso County-wide election and only impacts the communities of Anthony, Texas, and San Elizario. The May 26 runoff is a separate election with a separate early voting period.
There are three City Council seats up for election in Anthony, but only one is a contested race. In San Elizario, the mayor and two City Council seats are up for a vote. All three races in San Eli are contested.
Election Day will be Saturday, May 2. Early voting lasts through Tuesday, April 28.
