Mercadito to benefit our immigrant neighbors, April 26

(I will be attending this on Sunday April 26 to support our immigrant community. They have done this at various churches, including mine previously. The people who make the food used to come as well and socialize, but now they are too afraid of being targeted by ICE. It's still a way for them to earn some $$, especially since many are afraid to leave their homes to go to work, and is a great way to raise awareness and remind us all of what's happening.)

(One of the many projects of
The Remix Way): https://www.theremixway.org/get-involved

"Mercaditos: A monthly community market where families prepare and sell homemade foods, crafts, and goods. Proceeds go directly to support participating families’ essential needs. The Mercadito not only sustains households but also celebrates the beauty, culture, and creativity within our neighborhoods."
(Much more about Remix and its work at link)

The April 26 Mercadito will be at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3001 Belmont Blvd., Nashville, from 12 noon to 2 pm.
