Election Results: El Reno mayor wins re-election; Michael Steven Ray wins Mustang mayor
Many Oklahomans went to the polls on Tuesday for various local elections that were on the ballot.
The polls were open until 7 p.m. Tuesday for Oklahomans across the state to cast their ballots.
In El Reno, voters decided whether Steve Jensen or Phillip Church would be the city’s next mayor. With 100% of precincts reporting, Jenson, who was the incumbent, won re-election. Preliminary numbers show he won with 59% of the vote.
Mustang voters also voted in a mayoral election between candidates Michael Steven Ray and Jeffery E. Johnson. Ray won the election, getting nearly 66% of the vote.
