Hamilton County looking for poll workers for primary election

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Hamilton County Board of Elections is calling on registered voters and eligible high school students to serve as poll workers for the upcoming May 6 Primary and Special Election.

The opportunity allows residents to serve their community, while also earning between $225 and $275 for training, set-up, and Election Day duties.

“If you are a registered voter of any age, or a high school student aged 17 or older, we encourage you to apply to be a poll worker,” Sherry Poland, Director of the Board of Elections said in a statement.

The Board is particularly seeking registered Republicans and Democrats to serve in specific areas. Republicans are needed in Springfield Township, Woodlawn, Blue Ash, and Anderson Township, while Democrats are needed in Delhi Township, Miami Township, and Green Township.
