Absentee ballot submission deadline changes ahead of special election in Minot
MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - The special election for Minot’s next mayor is just a few weeks away.
For those voting through an absentee ballot, there are some changes you should know.
North Dakota lawmakers passed a new rule that ballots now have to physically be with the auditor’s office by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
The law goes into effect Aug. 1, right before the election.
