I don't know how NY City Council operates. Will it be in a lockstep with the new Mayor

or will they offer objections? Especially since he is new to this executive job?

Slightly less regional infighting but that exists given NYC's vast geography. What is about to come is a building mania across midtown and other office heavy areas. All the housing ballot measors passed which remove most of the planning processes.

I fear it can create unforseen bias to approve business friendly measures. Thus can be overt with an expectation of getting work after teem limit and also just not see the job beyond a stepping stone.
