NYC: We lost another "Good One": Leonard Lopate died two days ago.

He was one of the best interviewers and broadcasters on New York radio. He could make anyone sound interesting. His questions were inciteful and probing. And damned entertaining.

He was on WNYC (NPR) for a long time and then moved to WBAI (Pacifica).

The New York Radio Message Board website is pathetic. 25+ comments about Howard Stern (who's no longer on terrestrial radio) and nothing about Leonard Lopate who highlighted the City.
