Theresa mayor resigns weeks after re-election
THERESA, New York (WWNY) -Theresa’s mayor has resigned.
According to the Village, Mayor Scott McConnell resigned on Monday. They didn’t cite a reason for the resignation.
Atiba Raymond was appointed to the position by the Board of Trustees on Tuesday night at a village board meeting.
Raymond previously served on the village’s Board of Trustees and lost the bid for mayor to McConnell in a local election last month.
