DLCC Announces Slate of Targets in Nevada

WASHINGTON—Today, the DLCC announced nine new Target Races in Nevada, where the Assembly is on our Target Map as we aim to flip at least one seat to create a supermajority, and as we also strengthen our majority in the Senate. These five Assembly targets and three Senate targets are must-win races to set Democrats up to make meaningful gains in Nevada.

The DLCC is also announcing Sandra Jauregui as a Target Race candidate as she competes to flip the Lieutenant Governor’s seat, given that this role presides over the Senate.

The DLCC is working directly with the Nevada Democratic Caucuses and Target Race candidates to deliver support and resources for data, research, polling, paid communication, and direct voter contact. 2026 is a historic opportunity to shift the balance of power across the country and build durable power in Nevada, and the DLCC has the Target Map and strategy to meet this moment.
