NV-SOS: Nevada Secretary of State to file for re-election
AS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada’s Secretary of State will file paperwork Monday to run for re-election.
Cisco Aguilar is formally launching a campaign he says is focused on making Nevada the best state to do business and keeping its elections secure, accessible and transparent.
The filing is expected to take place at noon.
In office, Aguilar said he worked to fix what he called a broken business licensing system. He said changes he pushed cleared more than 1,000 software bugs and cut call hold times for entrepreneurs from nearly an hour to under five minutes.
