Caitlin Clark set for Dowling Catholic Hall of Fame induction

Caitlin Clark’s impressive mark on Dowling Catholic in West Des Moines will forever be on display at her alma mater. On Tuesday, Dowling Catholic announced that Clark will be one of seven inductees into its Athletics Hall of Fame in late September.

Clark will be honored alongside Bailey (Bravard) Schroder, Jack Koerner, Ben Severino, Nick McLellan, and special honorees Earl Hulst and Denny O'Grady during Dowling’s Homecoming festivities on Friday, Sept. 26.

“Girls and women's basketball has always been entertaining, and it's fun to see how Caitlin has brought so many more viewers to the sport. The impact Caitlin is having on girls and women's basketball, women's sports in general, and the world outside of sports is incredible to see.

"Caitlin is a great example for anyone when it comes to dreaming big and putting in the work to accomplish your dreams. She is also a great representative of Dowling Catholic High School, the state of Iowa and women's basketball," Dowling girls basketball coach Kristin Meyer said in a statement to the Register.
