Chatham County Board of Elections creates new precinct

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Board of Elections announced Tuesday that it has created a new precinct to help accommodate the continuing growth in western Chatham County.

The new precinct has been officially designated as Precinct 7-18 and formed by a split from Precinct 7-08. The newly formed precinct will have its residents vote at New Hampstead High School in Bloomingdale.

he change will take effect by the upcoming Municipal General/Special Election on November 4.
