Rest in peace, Robert Redford

The late Robert Redford had a minor University of Colorado, Boulder, connection in the 1950s where he was a student for a year. He was also famously a janitor at The Sink, a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and bar on The Hill, just a block from campus. The Sink, which was known as Herbie's Deli the nine months I lived on The Hill during the '75-'76 academic year, has been around so long that my mother and her Denver University friends used to ride the train up to Boulder and eat there. It's still there, 102 years after opening in 1923. (It was and is The Sink before and after being Herbie's Deli when I lived up on The Hill.) RIP, Robert Redford.
