FOUR SALIDA SCHOOL BOARD SEATS UP FOR ELECTION IN NOVEMBER 2025

The Salida School District R-32-J Board of Education will have four open seats on the ballot this November, including one at-large seat and seats in Districts 3, 4, and 5.

According to School Board Secretary Kim LeTourneau, Jodi Breckenridge Petit is the only current member who is term-limited. Petit, who was re-elected in both 2021 and 2023, will complete her term in 2027.

All current board members holding the seats up for election have expressed their intent to seek re-election this fall. However, a position switch is underway:

- Joe Smith will run for the at-large seat rather than for re-election in District 4.
- Ben Hill will run in District 4, moving from his current at-large position.
