Don't know if this is allowed but tomorrow I'll be doing stand up at Flappers in Burbank

It's a contest called Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest. There will be about
13 comedians competing.

Since they are there to witness a contest, the prevailing attitude will be wanting every contestant to succeed. I remember that from the show Last Comic Standing.
