'No Kings' marches across Arkansas planned for Saturday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Organizers said that Little Rock-North Little Rock will be the location for one of the 15 “No Kings” protests planned throughout the state this Saturday.

Organizers said the No Kings event in Little Rock will take place alongside a Community Connect organization fair. Thousands are expected to march with 30 organizations on hand “to promote democracy and build community,” they said as a protest against the current presidential administration.

For central Arkansas, organizers said its North Little Rock Community Connect Fair will include booths from local nonprofits, mutual aid groups, advocacy organizations, civic groups and faith communities offering volunteer sign-ups, resource information and ways to get involved.

LITTLE ROCK-NORTH LITTLE ROCK SCHEDULE
At 10 a.m., volunteer canvassing training will take place. Training sessions on how to collect signatures will also be offered throughout the day by the Arkansas Civic Action Network and Protect AR Rights off-site, at the corner of North Broadway and West 4th Street.

We had an amazing turnout last no kings in my little area. Hoping this one is as big or bigger.

We didn't encounter any counter protesters last time
