Judge Bart Virden to seek re-election to Arkansas Court of Appeals
Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Bart F. Virden, of Morrilton, intends to seek re-election to the District 2, Position 1 post on the appeals court in 2026, Virden announced.
Virden, 65, has served on the appeals court since 2015.
The district includes Baxter, Boone, Cleburne, Conway, Fulton, Faulkner, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Marion, Newton, Pope, Randolph, Searcy, Sharp, Stone and Van Buren counties.
"I have really enjoyed serving on the Arkansas Court of Appeals," Virden said in a news release issued this weekend.
