Prescott City Council candidates raise over $130,000 for 2025 election cycle

Mayoral and City Council candidates have raised over $130,000 in cumulative funds toward their respective campaigns as of July 19, with just over $109,000 spent.

According to the 2025 August Pre-Election Reports from each candidate, which include contribution data from July 1-19, candidates have raised an exact total of $130,765.17 since January. This year’s Primary Election takes place Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Candidates are required to file regular reports that cover the money each candidate has raised, where it came from and how much money has been spent on campaign costs. The candidates’ next report must be filed by Sept. 30.

This year’s funds total about $35,000 more than the 2023 election cycle through its second quarter.
