Interesting take......on our local ABC station news tonight he said beef prices were rising to $9.26

per pound, up 9% since January, and his 3 reasons?? smaller cattle herds, drought conditions, and more expensive feed. and funny, not a peep about the gawd damn tariffs. 🤬 🤬 🤬

5. Yah, I don't know, I don't buy beef so I really didn't pay to much attention to the prices in the store....

Shortly before The Flood, when I worked in a meat department while in high school, our regular ground beef was 69¢ a pound, 3 pounds for $1.99. Our lean ground beef — “ground chuck” — was 89¢ per pound. It’s now more than10 times as expensive.

I might get a couple pounds tomorrow, the $5.99 one...we'll see if it jumps in price...
